My 18-yr-old niece was admitted to the hospital yesterday. Her blood platelet & white blood cell counts are way off. They are unable to control her fever, and she continues to worsen, even on what meds they've been able to give her. She is no in immense pain, and her body is swollen. After 36 hours in the hospital they still don't know what's going on, and are bringing in a team of specialists now.
Please pray for her ultimate healing, and for God to guide the doctors' minds to do what is best for her.
Also asking that you pray for safety her dad (my brother-in-law) has he is currently driving across 4 states to be with her.

Thank you all so much for storming the gates of Heaven for my niece! Praise the Lord they are sending her home as soon as she stabilizes, because they finally got a diagnosis: a SEVERE case of mono!
Not 100% out of the woods yet. She was already dehydrated, but just started vomiting today, so that is a concern, and her fever is still there, but is now responding to meds.
But what a relief to have a diagnosis! And that it's nothing more serious!
I'll keep you posted, but Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!

Thank goodness she's on the path to recovery. How scary!! Glad she's going to be okay.
I have been MIA fir a bit. Glad she is ok. It is so scary whenyou don't know what is going on.
So glad things have taken a turn for the better. Hope she enjoys a speedy recovery.
